In the summer of 2025, I collaborated with my friend Mae C to paint a commissioned large-scale mural for Veterans Park Elementary School in Ridgefield, CT.

The purpose of the piece was to help brighten up the day of a child that may feel sad or lonely during the school day.

It was an honor to have the opportunity to work on a piece that will continue to be seen by so many students in years to come. Thank you to the VPES PTA for sponsoring the mural, and to Dana Phelan at Ridgefield High School for recommending me for this project.

Painting this mural made me more passionate about completing art for communities, as it was an incredible opportunity to be able to complete a piece in a public space. I was able to donate the proceeds I received from the commission towards Circle of Care, a local charity supporting pediatric cancer patients and their families.
